History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: He is an average looking eastern male in his early mid-life. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. With bright auburn hair and a scraggly beard. He has gray eyes and a white hat with a blue feather.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In his youth he was a Doctor, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to illithids.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bernard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now owns his own business.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.
