History: Henry was born with his mother's beautiful face. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: Frederick is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to end his boredom
