Description: A middle-aged man, he tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look, and is pretty ugly. His feathered hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Tanner mother left him crippled. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Description: He wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a green coat. He is physically well-built. His red hair is thinning but still full. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are brown.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Dustin has worked very hard to control his curse. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: He wears light armors faded through time and improper care. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. His chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Sage and was forced into it by his family; and an old rival family wants him found

Description: He prefers to wear red pants and tee shirts, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'9" when asserting himself. His hair, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Gilbert is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born to a Unemployed, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Unemployed they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Server, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and to unite with his sister

Description: He is a pot bellied northern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He is wearing a tight brown one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. His chestnut hair is lengthy. He has gleaming, smiling blue eyes.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Gifted from a young age, Charles studied abroad. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Spice Merchant. He tends to his Spice Merchant job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Further expansion of business.
