History: Norman was born with his father's beautiful face. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and to settle down with his crush

Description: He wears tattered old clothes. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly scythes and flails. He sports a flattop hair cut. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Description: He wears yellow trousers with grey and black striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. He is physically well-built. He has done his best to style his red hair to look like a famous performer. His blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Alex hails from a village terrorized by brigands. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Alex was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

History: Born to a Cook, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Painter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Painter for the past few years.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
