Guy Deighton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears tattered old clothes. His hair is short and black. His gray eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Guy is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Through the years after Guy was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Guy's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

Nicholas Stanton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: 5'3" and muscular, this northern man wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. His golden hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.
History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, orcs burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature ceremonial dagger.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
