History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, William grew up listening to his father's many stories. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. After a long history of fighting, William and his spouse have recently divorced.
