History: Born in the west to a Gardener, Arnold learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He's also a talented Animal Trainer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. He has wavy silver hair. His hazel eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Gerald lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Gerald's homeland. Gerald decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerald fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Spice Merchant business.

History: Bernard was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. At a young age his father died while driving off some dire rats. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in greataxe use. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and revenge

Description: He has a missing right leg. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his nunchaku with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He wears his chestnut hair down. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady hazel eyes.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he has passion for adventuring and risk
