The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Bernard took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up greatsword and armor he uses now. He became a Hunter soon after.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he seems to be bored by most things

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His childhood dream was to be a Barkeep, but he was a colossal failure. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Healer for hire.

Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and doesn't want to be a stylist and was forced into it by his family
