History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 71. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Anthony was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Painter. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Painter for hire.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new painter responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Manfred was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

His violet eyes peer out from beneath his feathered violet hat.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and human compassion
