History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He worked as a nervous Carter and found it very stressful. He became a Carter soon after.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Shane isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Crown-heir arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
