History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Cory was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: The child of a Marshal, who enjoyed hunting, Everard was taken on many hunting expeditions. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He tends to his Spice Merchant job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and wants to open a new tavern
