Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Lance embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Lance was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Lance's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears dull tan sweaters, loose grey pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed spear, just in case. He has a very tight haircut. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and an old rival family wants him found

Description: This tall, slender man is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. His hair is long and brown with streaks of golden, and is pulled back with small black clips. His beard is golden, braided, and well cared for. His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Justin was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Justin decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He very much looks the part of a Cartwright. His brown hair is braided into rings. He has several tiny amethyst earrings on each ear.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Arnold's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Cartwright business.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to be a masseuse again

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He wears a small hat to cover his moderate length chestnut hair. His blue eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Crown-heir work with an outfit from a few towns over. Crown-heir work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he is unsatisfied with his job
