History: Gerald hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He can't help but pocket interesting objects he comes across

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Gilbert was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Gilbert was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Gilbert's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He tends to his Sage job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Sage responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.
