History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. Through the years after John was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. John's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Simon grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Knight. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Description: Standing 6'5", this man wears dull tan sweaters, loose black pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed lance, just in case. His golden hair has been sun bleached extensively. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Jocelyn embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Jocelyn was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears a grey tunic with brown highlights, and long pastel pants that bunch up around his shoes. He keeps his auburn hair in a pixie cut. His eyes are gray and beady.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Charles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gifted student he started as a Doctor, but he got bored and became a Herbalist. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears tan painted combat armor at almost all times. His blonde hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His ears are large.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. After months of barely getting by, Simon managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he feels threatened by others
