History: Bertram was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. Through the years after Frederick was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Frederick's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
