In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He bought a morningstar and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and he wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His silver hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His half smiles and hazel eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is a Knight first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Roland was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Roland decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.
