John Myerscough, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears a tattered pair of loose red pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. He has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. He has wavy silver hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.
History: He was born at the edge of vast island. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Soapmaker. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.
Motivation: To be a Layabout again; and balancing his hectic life and new soapmaker responsibilities is difficult

Personal [hide]
Description: He is lean but muscular and wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His hair is short and white. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.
History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. In his youth he was a Slave Trader, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and he's in love

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Jeweler. He tends to his Jeweler job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Gilbert Thackeray, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A middle-aged man, he prefers to wear brown clothing when he does not wear armor, and is pretty ugly. His silver hair is greasy and uncared for. His fierce blue eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gilbert is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and he has a crush on the local weaver

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
