History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. At a young age his father died while driving off some dire rats. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in axe use. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Alex was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.
