He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Randal lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Randal and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He has worked as a Mason like his father before him.
