History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Cartwright and was forced into it by his family; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
