History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Born in the west to a Barber, Bernard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Bernard never married again.
