History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. After coming to the age of reason, Hugh took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact.
