History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

History: Theobald lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has achieved small success as a Guard.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of gnolls

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: Born in the west to a Herbalist, Conrad learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Herbalist for the past few years.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
