History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Gerard is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

This search led him directly into Barrister work with an outfit from a few towns over. Barrister work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
