History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Miles liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Junk Dealer. He has achieved small success as a Junk Dealer.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and balancing his hectic life and new junk dealer responsibilities is difficult

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Carter arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has never given up on his writing dream.
