History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving William alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Lance never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
