History: Born to a pair of adventurers, John grew up listening to his father's many stories. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His auburn hair and beard is wavy and long. He has blue eyes and a white hat with a blue feather.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hugh fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Theodoric grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). In the meantime he has taken over work as a Gardener and occasionally as a mercenary.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Charles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Charles was born on a far northern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Seamstress. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Priest. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He's also a talented Animal Trainer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
