History: Bernard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. William took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up spear and armor he uses now. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
