History: He was born in the east. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Balimaar never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Manfred was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Nicholas hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Fletcher. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and further expansion of business

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He is a great chef.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Mayor and was forced into it by his family; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
