Description: He wears black robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a shortspear, but if one is not available he will default to his pickaxe. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His violet eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.
History: Born in the east to a Glassblower, Charles learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and expand his business

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy red stubble. He wears suspenders and green workpants. His shirt is white, and he wears a heavy green leather apron most of the time. He has a hunchback. His red hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His blue eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.
History: He was born into a rich family. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

Description: This malnourished man wears a tight fitting grey shirt and pants. He wears a colorful flower in his brown hair. His hazel eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.
History: Bertram was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Dyer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: To protect his home; and he's repulsed by the pc

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He is typically in his Spice Merchant uniform. His hair, while still mostly red, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes are likewise amber. His teeth are white and perfect.
Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.
History: Born in the south to a Spice Merchant, Hunter learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered drow who tried to eat his hand. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
Motivation: He wants revenge against drow.

Description: This man likes to wear ponchos typically of a light black in addition to tight pants. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized aquamarine on his right hand. He sports a long red beard, and similarly colored long hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Farmer arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bertram was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
