Manfred Harper, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: He is in excellent shape and wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His moppish white hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Manfred is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Manfred was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Nicholas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Sage work with an outfit from a few towns over.
