Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright white and red, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His hair is cut close to his head. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are amber.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Nicholas lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

His eyes are likewise hazel. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: An older man who likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather, he is not a threatening figure. He keeps his long red hair kept up in a rat tail. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Scribe and was forced into it by his family; and to unite with his sister

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He tends to his Scribe job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To unite with his sister.
