Description: He usually wears his tan robe and has his scimitar always slung over his shoulder. He is physically well-built. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide his balding. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady brown eyes.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Theodoric is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Theodoric was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and he's looking for his big break

Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. He has shaved his head bald. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His moppish chestnut hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Hubert hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He wears green trousers with violet and tan striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. His brown hair is matted, messy, and big. He is baby faced.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Gomory was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gomory grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gomory. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears a simple green robe with brown stripes complete with hood. With a patchy red beard and wild red hair. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Through the years after Richard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Richard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.
