History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Patrick has worked very hard to control his curse. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
