History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shoemaker. He has worked as a Shoemaker like his father before him.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'6" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He dresses in pastel turtlenecks beneath a blue coat with black slacks. He is bald on top and has large white tufts of hair around his ears. His eyes are likewise violet.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk.

Description: This late middle aged man wears a blue armored body suit, with a simple tan line shooting up and back down and is in decent physical shape. His chestnut hair is greasy and uncared for. His eyes are green.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is content

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he wears a blue shirt with thin brown vertical stripes and blue pants. His long chestnut hair reaches down to his waist. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his blue eyes.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Map Maker born in the past three hundred years. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 7 years.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and balancing his hectic life and new map maker responsibilities is difficult

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His black hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His eyes are blue and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is a Mayor first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Alexandre was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and further expansion of business
