History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Merchant. He now owns his own business.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Gardener mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to get a good night's sleep

History: Born in the north to a Tanner, Roland learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Tanner. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
