History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Through the years after Charles was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Charles's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, William was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Drogo was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. After a long history of fighting, Drogo and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Revenge; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
