Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a tea of some kind. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down, marred by teas. His silver hair is knotted and matted. His eyes are blue and beady.

Personality: Shane hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, goblins burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Dyer responsibilities is difficult.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His hair is auburn and curly. His green eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Tanner. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: To end his boredom.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Richard was born on a far southern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Brewer. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to reunite with his absent father

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. His hair is auburn and curly. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Hunter. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: This man wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. He has a chestnut handlebar mustache and slicked back chestnut hair. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Theodoric embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His first spouse was a Unemployed, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Unemployed they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Soapmaker, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.
