History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Carpenter arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He worked as a nervous Brewer and found it very stressful. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Brewer for the past few years.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Interpreter born in the past three hundred years. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bertram grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Bertram's homeland. Bertram decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Interpreter for hire.

A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
