Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a old dungeon. Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He's also a talented Gardener, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and to be a gardener again

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He wants revenge against brigands; and money/treasure

He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
