History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. History: Gifted from a young age, Richard studied abroad. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Stylist. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
