Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. Bernard is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He dropped out of school to support his sick mother, and resented it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This man has the majority of his body covered in plate. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. He has a brown handlebar mustache and slicked back brown hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Butcher born in the past three hundred years. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: Gunter lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gifted student he started as a Scribe, but he got bored and became a Butcher. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To unite with his sister.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: A plain young-adult man, he prefers to wear grey clothing when he does not wear armor. His blonde hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He bought a sword and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he is content

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Reynard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.
