Description: A middle-aged man, he is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing yellow cape and mantle trimmed with soft brown waves gently in the breeze, and is pretty ugly. He keeps his blonde hair in a pixie cut. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Ploughman born in the past three hundred years. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Manfred is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has achieved small success as a Ploughman.

Description: This slender man stands about 6'5". He has the majority of his body covered in plate. His chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His ears are large.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born in the west. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Roger's homeland. Roger decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Roger fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To end his boredom.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a beer of some kind. He wears long strands of ruby and short green dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths, marred by beers. His auburn hair is cut short. This green eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Ploughman born in the past three hundred years. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Ploughman. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'10" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. With bright brown hair and a scraggly beard. His half smiles and amber eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Trym was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His hair is short and blonde. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Born to a Knight, his father struggled to pay the bills. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers
