Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He wears suspenders and black workpants. His shirt is red, and he wears a heavy black leather apron most of the time. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to cover his moderate length auburn hair. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Heward's homeland. Heward decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. He has dyed his greying chestnut hair a little too much giving a sharp chestnut color. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. Miles is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.
History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.

Description: This late middle aged man wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress) and is in decent physical shape. He sports a long auburn beard, and similarly colored long hair. His blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature ceremonial dagger.
Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears a simple brown robe with blue stripes complete with hood. He has no hair. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.
Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Herbalist arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Rolf took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up falchion and armor he uses now. He now mingles about in high society.
Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.
History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Gunter and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.
