History: Patrick lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He tends to his Courier job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Marshal. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he's in love

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
