Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Born in the south to a Guard, Lance learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Guard. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature axe.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and further expansion of business

History: He was born into a rich family. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. After months of barely getting by, Lewis managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.

He conceals his shield with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His chestnut hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His eyes are blue and beady.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Conrad has worked very hard to control his curse. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.
