History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Roland alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Dyer for hire.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. He has a long golden beard with little hanging trinkets. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: Hugh is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He got into the Unemployed business at a young age. His childhood dream was to be a Carter, but he was a colossal failure. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 11 years.

He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He wears a broad hat to hide his balding. His green eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and to share knowledge with the world

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Miner arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
