History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Scribe work with an outfit from a few towns over. Scribe work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Fisher, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Chad alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: Standing 5'2", this man usually wears his tan robe and has his bastard sword always slung over his shoulder. His chestnut hair, when down, is lengthy. His blue eyes peer out from beneath his feathered tan hat.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he is wearing a tight grey one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. He is bald on top and has large blonde tufts of hair around his ears. His eyes are likewise violet. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and to share knowledge with the world
