Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. Manfred enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A gifted student he started as a Dilettante, but he got bored and became a Ruler. He struck the Ruler job and began his own company from there.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he wants revenge against drow

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerald fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gifted student he started as a Gardener, but he got bored and became a Bather. He has worked as a Bather like his mother before him.

Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
