History: Ernest hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Layabout arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
